Frequently Asked Questions
- What do I have to bring to the session?
-
Every photoshoot is different! Depending on whether we will be working in-studio or on location we will discuss what I will provide and what you will need to bring.
Newborns: Fabric, props, outfits are provided by TM Photography. Prior to your session you will be able to choose colors and props.
Cake Smash Session: Outfits are not included. I provide all of the decor, cake and a selection of tubs.
Maternity Session: I have a variety of dresses in my client closet you may choose to wear, you may also provide your own outfit. Sign, props and baby items are available for use.
Family Portraits: We will work together to coordinate outfits for you and your family.
- Where are you located?
-
I'm located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I currently have a small studio space where I mostly photograph newborns, cake smashes, indoor maternity sessions, and headshots. I also shoot on location in and around Myrtle Beach.
- When is the best time for a beach photoshoot?
-
Golden Hour! Golden hour is the first hour after sunrise and the last hour of light before sunset, it produces a warm natural light. Golden hour is often called "magic hour" because of the beautiful soft light the sun produces. I love shooting at the golden hour because not only do we get beautiful sun glows, most days we are lucky to have some pink/orange/purple sunrise and sunset colors.
- What payment options do you accept?
-
I accept a variety of payment methods including PayPal, Venmo, Zelle and Google Pay. I also accept cash and credit cards. When booking a session, 50% of the session fee is due at the time of booking, the remainder is due the day before the photoshoot.
- How can I order an album of my images?
-
I absolutely love creating custom designed books and albums for my clients! I have various sizes to choose from, depending on how many images you would like included in your album. After you've viewed your images, you choose your favorites! Once we've chosen the favorites from your session, we chose which size will fit all of the images you've chosen. Then I get to work on designing an album just for you! After the design process, I send the album off to my professional printing lab to be completed.
- Do you have a cancellation policy?
-
Yes, to book your session I require a retainer to hold your date & time, this can be paid by Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Google Pay or Credit Card. The retainer is deducted from your total, which is due the day before the session.
The deposit is refundable only up to 60 days before the session date. If the session is canceled within the 60 days before your session, you will not be refunded the deposit.
In the case of camera failure, inclement weather, or any other unforeseen incident that prevents the photoshoot, a new date will be scheduled. If in the event, we are not able to reschedule due to bad weather, the client will be refunded their deposit.
No refund will be given under any circumstances if you fail to attend the photoshoot on the day and at the time listed when the booking was made.
